  The once defensive fortress complex of the Arapakis family at Haria Pirgou Dirou, after its renovation with great care and respect for the traditional architecture of Mani, has been converted into an A’ class hotel with furnished apartments.

The sixteen metre four (52 ft.) storey tower, the mill, the olive press, the vaulted ceilings of one of the most historic families of Mani, where the well renowned sea farer, Petros Arapakis was born, who also discovered the Diros Caves in 1884 and went round the world with a yacht, the Pandora in 1910-1911, are ready to welcome you. You will become acquainted with one of the most characteristic examples of the fortress architecture of Mani, and you will read the log of the seafarer, you will sit and quench your thirst in the “stenorougi” with the engraved stones.
